Our Aims
The Guidance, Advice Training & Employment Support Project (GATES) provides vocational guidance and training to individuals experiencing or overcoming mental health problems. We offer a range of services which support individuals to make realistic decisions regarding their employment, training or educational needs. Our aim is to ensure that any individuals experiencing or overcoming mental health problems have the opportunity to access meaningful vocational activities.
Services GATES provides services which support individuals to access mainstream work and educational activities. We offer a range of support facilities which include access to up-to-date jobs, training and educational opportunities, computer terminals with internet access, computer aided career guidance packages and quiet work/reading space.
